In UIL Region 6 Instrumental and Vocal Solo and Ensemble Competition, held Saturday, February 3, at Angelo State University, Evan Busenlehner received Division I (Superior) ratings and medals for his performances of two class 1 percussion solos, and Eracio Garza and Nicolaas Holder received Division I (Superior) ratings on their class 1 vocal solos. Each of these qualified for participation in the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest, to be held May 25 and 27 at a site to be determined in the Austin area.
Eva Burrell, Aden Quiroga, Aeirth Quiroga and Lillian Robbins received Division II (Excellent) ratings on their class 1 vocal solos.

We are so very proud of the excellent preparation and performances of each of these students. They were great representatives of Ballinger High School and the Ballinger community.
