Hello and welcome! I am Mike Gil Nuñez, Ballinger High and Jr. High Assistant Principal. I have been in education/coaching for 29 years and a part of the Ballinger ISD family for the last four years. I have lived by my mantra, "Be True to You and Your Everybody!", which means to always be respectful to what you know is right and respectful to the people that truly take part in your life. One must always remember and keep in mind where he/she came, who came before, and those that will come after. Also, I have been using "Act Right, Do Right, Be Right" with our secondary students to be respectful and responsible for their actions. I love to be a part of education, to read, to write poetry, and to be around anything dealing with sports.
My wife is Nora Marilu Nuñez and we have three sons, Xavier Gil (Teacher/Coach with Ballinger ISD), Edgar Ivan (Hardin-Simmons, playing football) and Caesar Nicolas (Angelo State, a member of the Cheer Team).
My goal as an administrator is to be a role model and support to all students that walk the proud halls of Ballinger High and Junior High.
Much Love and God Bless,
Mike Gil Nuñez
